| 应三束材料改性教育部重点实验室董闯教授邀请，印度知名学者B.S. Murty博士于2014年8月29日访问我校，他上午和下午在三束实验室会议室各做了一次报告，分别介绍了“纳米高熵合金的新颖工作”和“印度文化与宗教”。实验室主任赵纪军教授和国际合作与交流处赵胜川处长分别会见，并达成实验室合作和校级交流意向。赵胜川处长中午宴请。Murty博士是纳米材料领域国际知名专家，印度最负盛名的印度工业学院IIT-Madras的教授，印度工程院和科学院与院士。曾获代表印度科学家最高荣誉的Shanti Swarup Bhatnagar奖。

国际合作与交流处赵胜川处长会见了Murty博士 |
Dr. B.S. Murty obtained his PhD from IISc Bangalore (1992). After serving IIT Kharagpur for 12 years, he is currently a Professor at IIT Madras since 2004. His fields of interest are nano materials and other advanced materials. He has about 370 publications, supervised 28 PhDs and has filed about 14 patents. He has recently published two books entitled “Text Book on Nanoscience and nanotechnology” and “High Entropy Alloys”. He is a recipient of Shanti Swarup Bhatnagar Award, the highest honor for a Scientist in India, a Fellow of Indian National Academy of Engineering, Indian National Science Academy, Indian Academy of Sciences, National Academy of Sciences, ASM International and Asia Pacific Academy of Materials. |
